Recently, Far East Cable Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Far East Cable”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Smarter Energy”, stock code: 600869), obtained Indonesian National Standard (SNI) certificate (for low-voltage power cables). So far, Far East Cable has been the cable company expanding market in Indonesia that has obtained the most certificates among companies in domestic cable industry. Getting SNI certificate is a milestone for Smart Energy and Far East Cable.
Indonesian National Standard (SNI) certificate
Indonesian National Standard (SNI) is the only standards that apply nationally in Indonesia. From 2007 to 2010, Indonesian Ministry of Industry had issued 53 mandatory industrial standards, which included standards for electric wires. Products without SNI certification shall be banned from selling, and products in the market shall be removed off shelves. All regulated products exported to Indonesia must bear the SNI Mark. Indonesia is a growing developing country with a promising market.

SNI certificate enables Far East Cable"s products to enter the Indonesian market, which provides more possibilities to expand the Indonesian market in the future and is also the most effective proof of the company’s product quality. At the same time, getting the certificate is also an important step for Far East Cable to respond to the Belt and Road Initiative and promote the quality of China"s products.
